You can see where this ties into the idea of being plopped into a situation not knowing why youвЂ™re there, and what went on before you, but you become part of a story,вЂќ Cyan founder Rand Miller says in the Kickstarter video. Today, Cyan went live with their much-anticipated Kickstarter, asking fans for $1.1 million over the next 30 days to fund a spiritual successor to Myst and Riven. That is, if it gets funded and if it gets made. On a clear starry night, you stumble across a strange artifact and youвЂ™re transported to an alien world.
